The Vipiteno Municipal Theater can accommodate 430 spectators and offers a rich entertainment program, including theatrical performances, musicals, and artistic events. The main hall is the theater's centerpiece and highlight. Numerous artists have praised its excellent acoustics, and thanks to its many transformation options, the hall is perfect for plays, musicals, concerts, as well as dances and fashion shows. The orchestra pit can also be raised or lowered several levels, providing space for 40 musicians. The stage can also be extended to accommodate fashion shows, for example. The central lighting can be adjusted from the control room, where extensive and advanced technical equipment is located. Finally, the ground-floor seating can be removed as needed to create more space.
Rating: Very high accessibility
The Vipiteno Municipal Theater is located in the immediate vicinity of the city center. It does not have its own parking, so guests must use the underground garage on Via Europa (or Via Gänsbacher). A parking space reserved for disabled visitors is available on Via Stazione, in front of the theater. Upon request, visitors with disabilities can get in and out of their vehicles in the backyard, but the car will then have to be moved. From Piazza Goethe, you reach the main entrance with its cloakroom and cashier's desk. The cashier's desk has a lowered counter area. The foyer offers easy access to the ground-floor stalls, while the upper-floor balconies are easily accessible by elevator, as are the small cinema room (internal steps) and the rehearsal rooms on the lower level. Each floor has an accessible restroom equipped with grab bars.
The theater offers direct access to the nearby Bar Ristorante Teatro, where you can enjoy everything from a light snack to an à la carte menu!
Note: Upon request, visitors with disabilities can get in and out of their cars in the backyard, but the car will then have to be moved.
