Tarvisiano

The Tarvisiano area is a unique destination within the European Alpine landscape, where unspoiled nature, diverse cultures, and authentic traditions come together in the heart of the Julian Alps. Located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, right on the border between Italy, Austria, and Slovenia, this territory offers breathtaking scenery characterized by majestic mountains, crystal-clear lakes, ancient forests, and charming villages rich in history. In every season, Tarvisiano offers experiences focused on active and sustainable tourism: from skiing and winter excursions to summer hiking and cycling routes, as well as outdoor activities immersed in the natural beauty of the Julian Prealps Natural Park and the Tarvisio Forest, the largest state-owned forest in Italy.

Alongside its natural attractions, the area preserves an important cultural and gastronomic heritage, shaped by the meeting of Friulian, Germanic, and Slavic traditions. Events, local flavors, traditional crafts, and mountain-related festivals make Tarvisiano an authentic and welcoming destination, ideal for those seeking wellness, sport, relaxation, and close contact with nature in an international and easily accessible setting.
