This pleasant, fully paved panoramic walk develops along the sunny meadows of Valdaora di Sopra (Oberolang), offering an open view of the valley and the Dolomites. Flat and bathed in sunlight, the route passes by the Land Consolidation Monument with a rest area, skirts a farm with Scottish Highland cattle and alpacas, and offers an optional detour to the Kids Area Panorama. Virtually gradient-free along its main trail, it is ideal for families with strollers, seniors, and wheelchair users.

Description

The itinerary begins at the CallBus stop in the hamlet of Voppichl. The route unfolds along a quiet, flat paved road reserved for local traffic, traversing the wide, sunny meadows of Oberolang and offering a splendid open panorama over the valley floor and surrounding peaks. Walking at a relaxed pace, you come across a first rest area equipped with a wooden bench and a drinking fountain. A little further along, you reach the historic Land Consolidation Memorial: a striking granite stele with an integrated bench and bronze map, erected to commemorate the major consolidation of agricultural land and country roads carried out between 1964 and 1970.

Continuing along a gentle incline among sunny pastures, you arrive at the junction towards Restaurant Panorama, where you will find both the regular bus stop and the CallBus stop. At this point, the route offers two alternatives to continue your visit:

Optional detour to Restaurant Panorama and Kids Area: Turning right, you follow an uphill paved road about 150 meters long with a steady 8–10% gradient (requiring a little extra effort or assistance). The climb leads to Restaurant Pizzeria Panorama, which features a large parking lot, a CallBus stop, and the Kids Area: a large outdoor playground filled with attractions ideal for families with children.

Continuing on the flat route: By staying on the straight flat road instead, you continue pleasantly alongside a characteristic educational and breeding farm housing alpacas and typical Scottish Highland cattle - a favorite stop for young children.

Keeping your eyes on the peaks and following the flat paved path between the fields, the walk concludes in front of the CallBus stop located near the Familiaris accommodation facility (Aparthotel Winklwiese).
