The valuable collection of religious artworks is housed in the tower of Thurn Castle (13th century), a former courthouse and now the town hall of Nova Ponente. This museum displays altarpieces, paintings and statues of saints from the early Baroque period. Visitors can also admire consecration documents, prehistoric artefacts and historical evidence of the earliest settlements in the Nova Ponente area.
Rating: High accessibility
The local history museum is housed within Nova Ponente Town Hall. In addition to the limited number of parking spaces available near the main entrance, visitors can use the car park at the rear of the building, which also has a space reserved for disabled visitors. From here, you can access the Town Hall via a side entrance (no. 1b) and, using a modern lift (140x110 cm), visit the exhibition rooms on the ground floor. During opening hours, the museum is open to the public free of charge. On the upper floor, accessible by lift, there is also an accessible and fully equipped toilet.

Note: The recommended car park is at the rear of the building and includes a reserved parking space (5% cross-slope).
Directly opposite the main entrance to the Town Hall/Raiffeisen Bank, there are a few additional spaces (10% steep cross-slope).
