The public swimming pool "Lido Montiggl" is located directly on the shores of the large Montiggl Lake, in the heart of the Montiggl Forest – Mitterberg nature reserve in the municipality of Eppan on the South Tyrolean Wine Road. The Lido can be reached from Bolzano via the Mendel Pass road towards Kaltern. On the St. Michael/Eppan bypass, turn right before the tunnel towards the Montiggl Lakes. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach parking lot II (fee required) above the Montiggl Lakes. To get down to parking lot 1, continue following the road.

The expansive sunbathing lawn, the heated swimming pool, the water slide, the pool bar, and the restaurant serving Italian and South Tyrolean specialties, as well as the boat rentals (rowboats) and stand-up paddleboards, make a visit to the large Montiggl Lake a relaxing, exciting, and enjoyable pastime for the whole family.

Lake Montiggl has two large parking areas: Parking 1 is near the entrance, and Parking 2 is located a little further from the lake and at a higher elevation (500 m). The bus stop and four additional parking spaces for people with disabilities are located directly in front of the entrance, providing easy access to the entrance and ticket office.

The changing area includes a large cubicle that is easily accessible for wheelchair users. The accessible toilet is located near the adjacent kiosk and is equipped with grab bars.

The kiosk itself is situated on the wooden boardwalk (the terrace is accessible without steps, while the interior is accessible via a 5 cm high threshold).

The swimming pool and sunbathing lawn are located on an elevated area but are accessible without steps, albeit with gentle slopes. The swimming pool does not have any entry aids and is accessed via steps.

The restaurant is easily accessible from the access path via a ramp. It features a large dining room, a bar, and a terrace overlooking the lake. The accessible toilet in the restaurant is equipped with grab bars and is also accessible without steps. Due to limited space, assistance may be necessary for visitors in wheelchairs.
