The Lido di Merano is the city's historic seaside resort, renowned for its Art Nouveau architecture. Major renovations were carried out in 2015, preserving the original architectural structure while enhancing the heritage of a facility that adapts to changing times, technological developments, and the evolving needs of beach resort visitors.

The Olympic-sized pool has been expanded, measuring 50 x 25 meters, in compliance with competitive swimming regulations, with a depth ranging from 1.35 to 2.00 meters. The medium-sized pool measures 30 x 15 meters: one of the new features is the wellness area with hydromassage and water jets. There is also a diving area with diving boards of two heights (1 meter and 3 meters) and a portion of the pool that is deeper than the rest of the pool (4.00 meters instead of 1.25).

The waterslides are also new: two 13-meter-high slides, the tallest in the region, descend almost 100 meters. The popular Lido offers a large lawn for relaxing and sunbathing, as well as a well-maintained solarium area with lounge chairs. For younger swimmers, there's a play area with a pool, a playground, and a nursery.

There are also three dining options: the "Food Corner" restaurant and bar on the terrace, an ice cream parlor, and a "Zanzibar" kiosk serving cold drinks and snacks.

The Lido di Merano is located on the southwest outskirts of the city and has four parking spaces reserved for disabled guests. A flat path leads from the parking lot directly to the entrance. The ticket booths feature both traditional turnstiles and an alternative passageway accessible to families with strollers or wheelchair users.

In the spacious changing area, there are two accessible cabins, one for men and one for women, reserved for disabled guests and equipped with a shower wheelchair.

The large Olympic-size pool and the medium-sized pool with whirlpool and diving boards are easily accessible. Both have a hydraulic lift with a seat to facilitate access to the water for the elderly and disabled. The two waterslides can be accessed by climbing a long flight of stairs. The large sunbathing lawn is located below the pools and is reached via a long, steep ramp. The children's pool, playground, beach volleyball court, and snack bar are also located here. There are two restrooms, one upstairs (near the entrance) and one downstairs (on the lawn). Both are accessible and well-equipped, with walk-in showers and grab bars. The bar-restaurant with terrace is also easily accessible thanks to a ramp.
