From the east: A2 towards Villach, at the Villach junction take the A2 towards Italy, exit at Hermagor and turn left onto the B111, following the road to Watschig. From the north: A10 Tauern Autobahn towards Villach, exit at Paternion/Feistritz and follow the road for about 20 km, then follow the signs towards Hermagor and drive on the B111 to Watschig. From the south: A23 towards the Italian state border, continue on the A2 towards Villach, exit at Hermagor and turn left onto the B111, following the road to Watschig. From the west: Felbertauern or Pustertalerstraße towards Lienz, drive through the city of Lienz towards Carinthia, turn right in Oberdrauburg onto the B110 Gailbergstraße, turn left in Kötschach onto B111 Gailtalstraße and follow this to Watschig.
