The central themes of the Visitor Centre at the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park are ‘The boundaries of nature and the boundaries of humankind’. Among other things, the centre explores the transformative forces of glaciers and water, geological diversity, vegetation, the world of minerals, and various cultural and ethnographic aspects.

Rating: Very high accessibility

The Visitor Centre of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park is located in the basement of the Town Hall (disabled parking spaces are available on Via Jungmann, on the corner of Piazza del Municipio). During Town Hall opening hours, the Visitor Centre is easily accessible via the lift (140 x 110 cm). If the offices are closed, it is possible to enter via a side entrance at the rear of the building, which can only be reached by following a very steep external path and finally negotiating three steps. The interior of the museum is easily accessible, and there is also an accessible toilet.
