The "Caffè al Volo" Bistro, located inside the Thuniversum in Bolzano, is a hub for social and professional inclusion. Managed by young people with Down syndrome and cognitive disabilities from the Sorriso Academy cooperative, the project is a collaboration between Lenet Group (Thun) and the Il Sorriso association.
The bistro is open to the general public, not just to Outlet visitors: it is the perfect meeting spot for breakfast, a business lunch, or a relaxing break in an atmosphere that blends South Tyrolean tradition with a deep commitment to solidarity. The professionalism of the staff and their warm hospitality make every visit a unique and inclusive experience.

The Caffè al Volo Bistro is easily accessible by public transport: it is a 5-minute walk from the Bolzano Sud (Messe/Fiera) railway station and is served by urban bus lines 10A and 10B. For those arriving by car, reserved parking spaces are available at the nearby Ice Arena (Palaonda). From there, the entrance can be reached via a ramp with a 10% slope.
Access to the bistro is through a wide main door (120 cm) and the striking Panopticum multimedia path, which is located entirely on the ground floor and is barrier-free. The dining room offers bright spaces and excellent freedom of movement between the tables. Guests can use the Thuniversum's restrooms: the toilet at the entrance has a door width of 70 cm, while a second accessible restroom is available near the exit of the facility.
