{"id":451,"date":"2025-06-15T11:01:41","date_gmt":"2025-06-15T09:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/places-interreg.eu\/?p=451"},"modified":"2025-10-15T11:19:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T09:19:57","slug":"karnten-werbung-provides-impetus-for-barrier-free-tourism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/places-interreg.eu\/?p=451&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"K\u00e4rnten Werbung provides impetus for barrier-free tourism"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>What does a holiday that everyone can truly enjoy look like?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This question was addressed at the latest transnational meeting of the Interreg project PLACES \u2013 Promoting Landscape, Accessibility and Culture for Experiential and Sustainable Tourism in K\u00e4rnten.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/places-interreg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/P1120049rid.jpg\" alt=\"geological nature trail\" class=\"wp-image-443\" srcset=\"https:\/\/places-interreg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/P1120049rid.jpg 600w, https:\/\/places-interreg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/P1120049rid-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Together with project partners from Italy and Austria, new approaches to accessible and inclusive tourism were discussed \u2013 with the aim of making sustainable nature and cultural experiences accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n<p>K\u00e4rnten as host and catalyst<\/p>\n\n<p>The meeting took place in Klagenfurt at the invitation of the k\u00e4rnten.museum and K\u00e4rnten Werbung. In addition to professional exchanges, the programme included inspiring best practices: for example, the barrier-free Pyramidenkogel, the Skywalk and the Dobratsch geological nature trail \u2013 all certified by \u00d6ZIV.<\/p>\n\n<p>These examples show how accessibility in Carinthia is not just a concept, but a way of life.<\/p>\n\n<p>The goal: to make Carinthia&#8217;s nature and cultural experiences accessible and bookable for everyone \u2013 networked, sustainable and inclusive.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.carinzia.at\/servizio\/carinzia-senza-barriere\/\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carinzia.at\/servizio\/carinzia-senza-barriere\/\">Find out more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What does a holiday that everyone can truly enjoy look like?
