As part of the PLACES project – Promoting Landscape, Accessibility and Culture for Experiential and Sustainable Tourism (ITAT-46-019 | Interreg Italy-Austria Programme 2021–2027 | CUP B39I24002540007), on 29 May 2026, La Piccionaia organised a webinar on the theme “Theatre and extended audio reality for barrier-free tourism”, with the participation of experts in the field:
Maria Grazia Marini, head of the tourism department at Ravenna City Council, presented the Silent Plays initiative as a tool for promoting cultural tourism.
Carlo Presotto and Paola Rossi from ‘La Piccionaia – Centro di Produzione Teatrale’ spoke about the use of theatre and silent performances as narrative tools to make cultural experiences accessible and participatory.
